Beschreibung

A book which challenges all our preconceptions about Britain playing the role of the plucky underdog in World War II, arguing that in fact, this country used its high technology, new weapon systems, military scientists, colossal factories, inventiveness and resources to win through. 'Brilliant and thought-provoking' "Sunday Telegraph"
