Dorothea Heil studierte Rechtswissenschaften an der Albert-Ludwigs-Universität Freiburg im Breisgau. 2013/14 absolvierte sie ein Auslandssemester an der Université de Fribourg, Schweiz. 2015 legte sie die Erste Juristische Staatsprüfung (Baden-Württemberg) ab. Während ihrer Promotion war sie wissenschaftliche Mitarbeiterin am Institut für Arbeitsrecht der Albert-Ludwigs-Universität Freiburg im Breisgau bei Herrn Prof. Dr. Sebastian Krebber, LL.M. Derzeit befindet sie sich im juristischen Vorbereitungsdienst am OLG Karlsruhe.
