I wrote it while hiding under a blanket. A book to cry. I cried when I was writing it. A book to remind you of your childhood. Because I never grew up. And a book to think. Because I never stop thinking.

My name is Franziska, known to some as Fray or Frayli, I am 17 years old and was born in Germany and have felt a special connection to nature and animals since my childhood. I always tried to be normal until my dog Toffi came into my life a few years ago. Toffi is not normal at all, but perfect, and that moved something in me. Now I try to enable other people to understand what the world and life look like for me.
My motivation to write a book is rooted in the desire to give other people a voice, and I believe that writing particularly helps those whose voices are not heard in this world. For me, writing is like building bridges to those who feel stranded and who try to escape, with books, imagination and daydreams.
