Elise and the Big Bad Plant is a story in which Elise sees a plant with thorns that grows up very quickly after her family has moved to a new house. As the plant grows larger and larger, she wonders about its odd purple flowers and finds it a little scary. Soon she is even dreams about it. So what will happen to Elise and this "big bad plant"?
GINI GRAHAM SCOTT, Ph.D., J.D., CEO of Changemakers Publishing and Writing, is an internationally known known writer, speaker, and workshop leader. She has published over 50 books with major publishers on various topics and has written over 3 dozen children's books. She is a member of the Society of Children's Book Writers and Illustrators. Scott has gained extensive media interest for previous books, including appearances on Good Morning America, Oprah, Montel Williams, CNN, and hundreds of radio interviews. Scott has a PhD in sociology from U.C. Berkeley and MAs in Anthropology, Pop Culture and Lifestyles, Mass Communications and Organizational/Consumer/Audience Behavior, and Recreation and Tourism from Cal State, East Bay. She has most recently received an additional MA in Communications in 2017.
