Her childhood soured her on relationships, and now she protects her heart by living for her work. When Yvonne's elite unit nabs the case of a lifetime, she finds romance knocking at her door. Mabert Mazyck was inspired to start writing by their fourth-grade teacher, and they never looked back. They're a hopeless romantic who loves writing, drawing, knitting, listening to music, and the arts. They spend their spare time hanging out with friends, playing with their three cats, and drinking way too much coffee. Mabert lives in Vancouver, BC and takes many inspirations through the various different cafes in the city.
