Si è laureata in Lingue presso la FFLCH-USP, ha conseguito un Master in Linguistica presso l'UNICAMP e un dottorato presso l'USP + Università di Friburgo/Oldenburg-Germania. Ha completato un post-dottorato presso il TIDD-PUC-SP. È autrice del libro Mobilità tecnologica e pianificazione didattica.
