Martin Vocks studierte von 2007 bis 2013 Rechtswissenschaften an der Albert-Ludwigs-Universität Freiburg i. Br. und am King's College London. Anschließend war er als Doktorand am Institut für Staatswissenschaft und Rechtsphilosophie tätig (Lehrstuhl Präsident des BVerfG a.D. Prof. Dr. Dr. h.c. mult. Andreas Voßkuhle). Seine Promotion wurde durch ein Promotionsstipendium der Studienstiftung des deutschen Volkes gefördert. Von 2019 bis 2021 absolvierte Herr Vocks das Rechtsreferendariat am Hanseatischen Oberlandesgericht in Hamburg.
