The thesis examines the validity of agreements in management board contracts, focusing on the limits set by the provisions regarding standard business terms. A central point of concern is whether the measures by which standard business terms are controlled need to be adapted with regards to specifics in Company Law. Following this, the author examines the effects such adaptations have on certain clauses as well as the influence of Labour Law.
Melanie Jänsch studierte von Oktober 2013 bis August 2018 Rechtswissenschaften an der Rheinischen-Friedrich-Wilhelms-Universität Bonn. Während des Studiums war sie seit September 2014 als studentische Hilfskraft am Institut für Arbeitsrecht und Recht der Sozialen Sicherheit, Lehrstuhl von Prof. Dr. Gregor Thüsing, LL.M. (Harvard), tätig. Nach erfolgreichem Abschluss des ersten Staatsexamens führte sie ihre dortige Tätigkeit als wissenschaftliche Mitarbeiterin fort. Seit Februar 2021 ist sie Rechtsreferendarin am Landgericht Bonn.
