Tourmaline and the City of Nowhere

Tourmaline's magic is no longer a secret, and everyone wants something from her, including her (potentially) villainous father. He wants her help on his mission to find the legendary City of Nowhere. But Tourmaline (along with her best friends George and Mai) has bigger things to deal with - Pellavere, her home, is in danger. When it turns out that her father's quest and the key to saving Pellavere could be linked, Tourmaline has a decision to make. But will the City of Nowhere have the solution to save her home? Or will it give her father the magical power he so desperately craves?

Ruth Lauren has been a teacher and worked in lots of different offices, but she likes writing best, as well as walking in the woods, cheese, orchids, going to the movies, and reading as many books as she can. She is the author of Prisoner of Ice and Snow and its sequel Seeker of the Crown and currently lives in a Victorian house in the West Midlands in England with her partner and a lot of children and cats.
