Storm is the first story in a children's series by Skye Lees. The doting mum and storyteller from Sydney, Australia, received a precious gift in 2014 with the birth of her daughter, Sienna. Her lovely three-year-old daughter inspires her to be a creative life mentor and youthful writer.
Storm tells a tale of acceptance and bravery. It's a heartening story that begins with a storm and ends in a storm. A unicorn is born in a herd of horses during a frightening, enormous storm. Teasing by the other horses makes it tough for him to appreciate his uniqueness and innate splendor caused by his distinctive physical attributes. An unexpected turn of events will inspire the young at heart and the creative minds of children to be heroes of their herds and to become their own heroes by overcoming social challenges, differences, and acceptance.

Skye Lees lived a colourful life in Sydney, Australia, where she grew up. Her travel and work led her to Los Angeles and London, where she had several years of unforgettable memories. She and her partner are back home in Sydney, where she is a doting storyteller to her lovely three-year-old daughter, Sienna, who enjoys reading time with Mum. Sienna inspired her to transform her poems into a series of fascinating children's stories.
Storm is her debut and the introductory book in a children's book series. Her children's stories aim to inspire more mums to become life mentors as they are uniquely qualified to be and to artistically nurture young creative minds with life values.
