The missing candlestick

In his masterpiece "The Lost Menorah," Zweig traces, in an epic style, the journey of the Great Exodus behind the hoard of treasures, the flame of the Lord, the lost menorah, or in short, not without awe: "The Menorah."
In this miraculous and confusing novel at the same time, Zweig, with the contents of his oral and narrative memory, and his ability to dig deep into the human soul, provides us with an important testimony about the journey of tracing the candlestick that was looted by the Vandals, during the great plunder of Rome. A different kind of journey that was not recorded in the books of the Torah, even though its structural and narrative basics were inspired by its seven-pointed menorah, or the menorah, the flame of the Lord. It is a novel that presents the idea of --salvation in another way. Salvation, according to Zweig, is never found in that lost sanctuary, but rather in that long journey that a person undertakes in search of hope in times of terror, fear, and accelerating collapse.
It is a novel about hope, man's hope for salvation from his sins and evils, so that perhaps the dawn of humanity will shine again, away from the spirit of destruction and killing.
