Yannick Witt studierte Rechtswissenschaft an der Rheinischen Friedrich-Wilhelms-Universität Bonn mit dem Schwerpunktbereich im Unternehmens- und Kapitalmarktrecht. Ebendort fertigte er seine Dissertation zum Thema »Die Veräußerung des ganzen Gesellschaftsvermögens gemäß § 179a Abs. 1 AktG« unter Betreuung von Prof. Dr. Jens Koch an. Promotionsbegleitend war er in Wirtschaftskanzleien in Düsseldorf im Bereich des Gesellschaftsrechts tätig. Seit Herbst 2020 absolviert er ein Postgraduiertenstudium an der University of Oxford (Magister Juris).
