Yuzhou Huang erwarb seinen Bachelor- und Masterabschluss in Rechtswissenschaften an der Southwest University of Political Science and Law in Chongqing, China (2007-2015). Anschließend absolvierte er ein durch das Chinese Scholarship Council gefördertes Promotionsstudium an der Rechtswissenschaftlichen Fakultät der Albert-Ludwigs-Universität Freiburg, das er im Juli 2020 mit der Verleihung des Doktortitels abschloss. Seit Oktober 2020 arbeitet er als Dozent an der Law School of University of Chinese Academy of Social Sciences.
