»Corpus Linguistics in Law. Theory and Case Studies«: What is the meaning of a word? Corpus linguistic methods of linguistics promise an empirical-inductive exploration of language use for the legal practice. This volume documents the historical development in this field in both the USA and Germany, discusses the possibilities and limitations of a corpus linguistic toolbox in law and compiles illustrative case studies on language use issues in recent case law.
