Laura Adjan studierte von 2011 bis 2016 Rechtswissenschaft an der Universität Regensburg, schloss 2017 ihren Mastes of Laws an der UTS (Sydney) ab und war von 2018 bis 2020 Rechtsreferendarin am Oberlandesgericht München. Im Anschluss daran verfasste sie ihre Dissertation unter Betreuung von Professor Dr. Giesen am Lehrstuhl für Sozialrecht, Arbeitsrecht und Bürgerliches Recht der Ludwig-Maximilians-Universität München, bei dem sie auch als wissenschaftliche Mitarbeiterin tätig war. Im Mai 2023 wurde Laura Adjan promoviert. Seit April 2023 ist sie als Rechtsanwältin im Arbeitsrecht bei der Kanzlei Noerr in München tätig.
